HILTON SEYCHELLES NORTHOLME RESORT & SPA, UNTOUCHED PARADISE ALONG THE INDIAN OCEAN
July 28, 2018
Your Creole getaway awaits at this hidden treasure – also an inspiration to James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Surrounded by white-sand beaches, tropical gardens and crystal waters, the Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is a true escape.
Their villas are perched on stilts, providing gorgeous views and plenty of privacy. An infinity pool, oceanfront dining, a luxurious spa, glass-bottom boat tours – it’s just the beginning of your retreat in Beau Vallon Bay.
While every villa faces the ocean offering stunning panoramic views of the water, the hotel has different types of luxurious villas nestled hillside in the tropical forest. Each spacious villa has a private balcony with sun loungers, day bed and incredible views of the water. The Grand Oceanview Pool Villas has a large infinity swimming pool. Glass-panel French doors, original artwork, cozy furniture and a whirlpool bath make the indoors enticing, too.
We felt like at home in a King Hillside Villa. A 969 sq. ft. villa, nestled in lush tropical forest and commanding spectacular Indian Ocean views. The living area features contemporary décor and original artwork. It is amazing having breakfast at the balcony admiring the sweeping sea view.
We had the opportunity to see the Northolme Pool Villa, a luxurious two bedroom villa with private bathroom en suite, elegant wooden finishes and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Beau Vallon Bay and Silhouette Island. It has a stunning large private in-villa swimming pool and the resort gives you the possibility to dine on the outdoor deck and admire on one side the tropical forest, and on the other the sun setting on the stunning Beau Vallon Bay. The living area features contemporary décor and original artwork. Each bathroom has a whirlpool bath perfect for romantic relaxation or for taking a refreshing break from the sun.
Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa is winner since 2007 of the World Travel Awards by TripAdvisor Hall of Fame and the resort was also introduced in TripAdvisor Hall of Fame in 2015.
Beautiful island views, dining under the stars, authentic Creole flavors, the Hilton Seychelles resort has all you crave on a getaway.
The resort offers a choice of activities and experiences to ensure every need and preference are covered in the most luxurious way as snorkeling and kayaking or boat and helicopter tours. Among the facilities the resort has spa, infinity pool overlooking the ocean, steam room and even a yoga pavilion.
Within the number of activities the hotel offers, special mention needs to be done to the master class we received from the resort’s executive chef Kevin Coey. He taught us how to cook a fresh local Red Snapper with Creole Salad & Chili Mango Salsa all well watered with a fantastic wine. And for desert, Takamaka Rum Bananas. This is an experience you can’t miss, as Kevin will also show you procedures, methods and tricks that only 5 stars Michelin chefs have.
As spa lovers visiting Eforea Spa was a must so we embarked on a transformative journey of wellbeing to emerge brighter. The professional therapists guide you through your personal experience in a fantastic tranquil setting overlooking the India ocean. It has 3 luxury treatment rooms and all is done with organic products that reflect the beauty of Mother Earth. There are different spa packages available so do not hesitate to ask your butler for them as it is a real unique luxury experience.
The resort has 3 restaurants and all of them let you enjoy panoramic views of the sea. Relax at the Hilltop Restaurant main dinning room and savor a choice of local and international themed buffet menus for breakfast and dinner. You can choose from alternating themes such as the Italian and Asian themed nights. You can also watch the expert chefs creating your meal at the live cooking stations and don’t miss the exciting Creole evening on Tuesdays with authentic Creole food.
At Les Cocotiers Restaurant you can have the ultimate dining experience. Dine under the stars at this al fresco restaurant and enjoy spectacular ocean views. Choose from the à la carte menu featuring a range of Creole-international fusion dishes to suit every taste. I would like to mention the fantastic seafood they have. This unique venue is also the perfect choice for celebrating a special occasion.
Unwind in the stylish interiors of the Ocean View Bar or relax on the split-level decked balcony for views of ocean coves and starlit nights. Sip on the finest international cocktails and freshly squeezed juices. Live music makes the perfect accompaniment to sunset.
I would like to mention that The Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa has a child policy of children 13 years and over.
